Responsibilities

You work to becoming the run process owner, ensuring the process is well documented, with clear work instructions and timelines
You create alignment in the work of the team by setting up meetings to discuss planning, progress and issues encountered in the process
You contribute to executing data management processes of the different calculation runs, performing data quality checks on completeness and correctness in our data applications
You represent the team and process by liaising with a broad group of stakeholders to align on the planning and execution of the process
You setup and maintain the incident workflow, including logging, root-cause analysis, impact assessments, improvements for prevention and communication to stakeholders
You combine your experience with the input of the team to identify, plan and implement process improvements with the support of the technical scrum team
You setup and maintain the control framework for the process, including ensuring alignment with the control testing teams

As an senior data management professional within NN, you leverage your experience to develop our team and process for calculating ESG metrics on our investment portfolio. With sustainability rapidly growing as a high priority topic in society and NN, you bring positive energy and motivation to make a difference and be a part of NN’s sustainability ambitions. The ideal candidate is a structured team player that combines excellent stakeholder management skills with a strong sense of ownership. You enjoy the challenge of working in the dynamic environment of sustainability data, where improvisation and collaboration are the key to success.

Based on above, we are looking for a candidate that has;

5-7 years experience in data management on data applications within a finance, risk or asset management environment (experience in ESG related data management is a big plus)
Excellent communication in English
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics
A successful track record with data management process ownership and implementing controls
A solid understanding based on hands on experience of the key master data domains of investment data, financial instruments and issuers
Experience in working with market data vendors

The ESG CDP is a young and diverse team of professionals that is structured in three parts; technical delivery, project & functional analysis and data processing. Given all the new scope and requirements that are coming our way, we are in the process of expanding the team in all area’s, and this is part of the build up for the data processing team, which is currently aimed to become a 4 member team.
